Job summary

Intelas—a Compass Healthcare company—seeks a Mgr, Biomedical Services in Aurora, IL to mentor technicians, ensure ISO 13485 compliance, and drive equipment KPI improvements. The role oversees calibration, maintenance, and repairs of complex clinical devices and systems.

You will manage planned maintenance, analyze and repair electromechanical equipment, and lead on-call coverage while ensuring safe, compliant operations across healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in biomedical equipment technology or electronic equipment or equivalent.
• CABT, A+, etc, Certifications preferred.
• Military training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train junior biomedical equipment technicians with in-service educational training on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain compliance on ISO:13485 certification standards/QMP policies and requirements; plan, organize, and direct growth and performance of the client contract.
• Implement KPI improvement strategies and lead team huddles/meetings.
