Job summary

Intelas is hiring an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician to mentor and train staff, ensure ISO 13485 compliance, and lead maintenance programs for complex clinical equipment. The role emphasizes KPI-driven improvements, on-call readiness, and active participation in client service initiatives.

The technician will oversee planned maintenance, calibrations, and safety testing while maintaining CMMS accuracy and inventory control across hospital-based equipment fleets.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years servicing a broad range of clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital.
• Strong knowledge of electronic circuitry and the maintenance of electronic and electromechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train junior biomedical equipment technicians.
• Lead KPI improvement strategies and client contract growth.
• Respond to clinical department calls and rectify operator concerns.
• Perform planned maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment.
• Maintain CMMS reports and accurate inventory documentation.
• Supervise and instruct maintenance personnel in safe use and repair of equipment.
• Prepare, present, and explain equipment database reports.
• Establish on-call schedule and manage on-call responsibilities.
