Job summary

Intelas, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Director, Biomedical Services II to lead repairs and calibrations of patient care and support equipment at Oak Park, IL. You will supervise biomedical technicians, administer the asset management software, oversee work orders, and coordinate maintenance and inspections with senior management.

Qualifications include Certification/Associate Degree in Electronics/Biomedical Technology, five years in biomed, and three years of supervisory experience;

Qualifications

• Certification and/or Associate Degree in Electronics/Biomedical Technology required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in the biomedical field.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
• Must have knowledge, ability, and willingness to perform duties of biomedical technician.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and directs biomedical technicians and other support staff.
• Administers and ensures the validity of the asset management software program.
• Ensures timely work order administration.
• Administers on-call, maintenance, and inspection schedules.
• Reviews and approves purchase orders.
• Reviews financial statements and budgets with senior management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
