Job summary

Intelas, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Director Biomedical Services II in the Cummings/GA area. The role oversees repairs and calibration of patient care and support equipment and leads biomedical technicians while managing asset software and service workflows.

The position requires a degree in electronics/biomedical tech, supervisory experience, and a minimum of five years in biomed, with strong time management and independent work capabilities.

Qualifications

• Certification and/or Associate Degree in Electronics/Biomedical Technology required.
• Prior military training and experience preferred.
• A minimum of five years of experience in the biomedical field required.
• A minimum of three years of supervisory experience required.
• Must have knowledge, ability, and willingness to perform duties of biomedical technician.
• Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to work independently a must.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and directs biomedical technicians and other support staff.
• Administers and ensures the validity of the asset management software program.
• Ensures timely work order administration.
• Administers on-call, maintenance, and inspection schedules.
• Reviews purchase orders.
• Reviews financial statements and budgets preparation with senior management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
