Job summary

Intelas, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Director of Biomedical Services II to lead repairs and calibration services for patient-care equipment within facilities nationwide.

You will supervise and train biomedical technicians, manage asset-management software, and oversee work orders, on-call rosters, and budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance and high uptime to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Certification or an Associate Degree in Electronics/Biomedical Technology is required.
• Military training and experience preferred.
• At least five years of experience in the Biomedical field required.
• At least three years of supervisory experience required.
• Must have knowledge, ability, and willingness to perform duties of a Biomedical technician.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and directs biomedical technicians and support staff.
• Manages asset-management software to ensure data integrity.
• Ensures timely work order administration.
• Manages on-call, maintenance, and inspection schedules.
• Reviews and approves purchase orders.
• Reviews budgets and financial statements with senior management.
• Performs other assigned duties.
