Job summary

Aretum is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician – Info/Sys to support a healthcare facility with networked medical devices. You will perform preventive maintenance, preventive and corrective repairs, and ensure device security in collaboration with IT teams.

Experience with Cerner is preferred, and a strong background in networking and medical IT is essential. The role requires an associate degree or higher, 3+ years in healthcare maintenance (1+ in medical information systems), and

Qualifications

• A two-year associate degree or higher in an applied science or equivalent military training.
• Three years hospital/healthcare maintenance experience; at least one year in medical information systems and networking.
• Strong knowledge of virus protection software, patches, upgrades, and information security tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on networked medical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions following manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect new equipment for safety, function, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams on medical device security.
