Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate a broad range of medical equipment with routine to moderate complexity. The Biomedical Equipment Technician II is an experienced technical professional responsible for independently inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and supporting a broad range of medical equipment of routine to moderate complexity across Beth Israel Lahey Health. The BMET II applies established technical expertise and sound judgment to ensure medical equipment remains safe, reliable, and compliant with manufacturer recommendations, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards. The BMET II supports equipment lifecycle activities, collaborates with clinical users, manufacturers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, and contributes to the effective delivery of Biomedical Services through high‑quality technical support, documentation, and customer service. The position also provides informal guidance to less experienced technicians and supports operational and quality improvement initiatives within assigned areas.

Pay Range: $38.00 - $50.00 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
