Job summary

TriMedx, LLC is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician I (BMET I) to service clinical equipment under supervision. The role includes validation, inspection for safety and operation, and performing planned maintenance, calibration, and repairs of general biomedical devices.

Responsibilities include PA inspections, ESI, and OVP procedures; maintain service records and collaborate with supervisors and technicians to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in a technical or electronics field or equivalent experience required.
• 3 months experience with biomedical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and operation verification procedures on general biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate general biomedical equipment; inform supervisors of repair status and customer concerns.
• Work with subcontractors and outside technicians to ensure proper service delivery; maintain equipment database accuracy.
