Blue Water Thinking in Seattle seeks an experienced Biomedical Engineer to manage our medical equipment program, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and support clinical technology across the facility. The ideal candidate has at least three years in hospital or healthcare equipment management, knowledge of computer-based medical systems, networking, and information security.

Responsibilities include developing a compliant equipment program, education curriculum for staff, recalls and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (CCE preferred).
• At least three years hospital/healthcare equipment experience.
• Knowledge of computer-based medical systems, networking, and information security.
• Ability to manage a compliant medical equipment program and develop CE curricula.
• Ability to manage recalls and safety alerts per SMDA and TJC.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement a comprehensive medical equipment management program.
• Create a continuing education curriculum for healthcare staff.
• Manage a recall and safety alert program for medical devices.
• Lead capital asset and infrastructure planning for medical equipment.
• Provide SME support for clinical technology and lifecycle management.
• Advise staff on medical technology viability, safety, and compatibility.
• Apply project management principles to deployments of medical equipment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for seamless integration of medical technology.
• Stay updated on regulatory and ISO standards.
