Job summary

Blue Water Thinking, LLC seeks an experienced Biomedical Engineer to join our healthcare team in Fresno, CA. You will manage our medical equipment program and ensure the safety, functionality, and regulatory compliance of medical technology within our facility.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of hospital or healthcare experience in medical equipment maintenance or management, plus knowledge of computer-based medical systems, networking, information security, and healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in hospital or healthcare setting maintaining medical equipment or managing a medical equipment program.
• Knowledge of computer-based medical systems, networking protocols and information security as applied to medical technology.
• Ability to develop and manage a compliant medical equipment program and CE curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive medical equipment management program that complies with healthcare standards and regulatory agencies.
• Create and deliver a continuing education curriculum on safe and effective use of medical technology.
• Lead recall and safety alert program for medical devices to ensure patient safety requirements.
