Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a motivated scientist for the Biologics CMC Developability team in Worcester, MA. The successful candidate will perform characterization using LC-MS and contribute to biologic drug development.

The role requires expertise in biopharmaceuticals, collaboration skills, and a strong educational background in relevant fields. This is a contractor position with potential extensions based on performance.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent, with experience in biopharmaceuticals.
• 5+ years (BS) or 2+ years (MS) or Ph.D. with no experience.
• Hands-on experience with protein mass-spectrometry and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth LC-MS characterization of therapeutic biologic molecules.
• Conduct liquid chromatography characterization of biologic drug candidates.
• Prepare and deliver concise scientific presentations of experimental results.

Skills

Biologics characterization using liquid chromatography- mass spectrometry (LC-MS)

Hands-on experience with protein mass-spectrometry

Experience with liquid chromatography methods

Ability to use MS Excel & GraphPad for data analysis

Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Education

BS or MS in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent

Ph.D. with biopharmaceutical industry experience
