Qualifications

• BS degree or 2–5 years of related laboratory experience in biochemistry or molecular biology.
• Proficiency in molecular biology, biochemical workflows and related lab procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute protein expression and purification workflows from microbial hosts using established protocols.
• Perform and document biochemical assays, evaluate results, and troubleshoot deviations.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments within established procedures.
• Follow employee health and safety requirements and document activities.
• Coordinate activities with scientists, communicate results, issues, and dependencies.
• Assist as a technical resource and escalate complex issues to the lead as needed.
• Contribute to data storage and laboratory data management.
