Job summary

Turning Stone Enterprises is seeking a Bingo Assistant Shift Manager to help lead daily bingo operations in a fast-paced environment at Turning Stone Resort Casino in New York. You will train and supervise staff, manage scheduling, cash handling, and compliance while delivering a welcoming guest experience.

The role requires 2 years in Bingo/Gaming and at least 1 year of supervisory experience, with strong guest service and communication skills. College degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Two years of Bingo or Gaming experience required.
• One year of supervisory/management experience required.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Money handling experience with basic math skills required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
• Basic understanding of Title 31, MICS and gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bingo operations including training, scheduling, cash/credit handling, balancing and reports.
• Work with the Senior Shift Manager to resolve guest and team disputes and variances.
• Lead a team of Bingo Supervisors, Seniors, Callers and Clerks.
• Model positive behavior and promote a fun, welcoming atmosphere for guests and team members.

As the Bingo Assistant Shift Manager, you will help lead daily operations, support and develop team members, resolve guest concerns, and ensure accurate cash handling and gaming compliance. What does a Bingo Assistant Shift Manager do?

The Assistant Shift Manager will oversee aspects of all daily bingo operation including:training, system operations, scheduling, cash/credit handling, balancing, team and operational performance reports, editing and compliance along with any other duties or assignments as directed by the Bingo Manager.

Working with the Bingo (Senior) Shift Manager, will assist in the resolution of guest and team dispute, variances, attendance, performance and the like.

The Assistant Bingo Shift Manager is responsible for managing a team consisting of Bingo Supervisors, Bingo Seniors, Bingo Callers, Bingo Clerk I's, and Bingo Clerk II's.

Portrays themselves as a positive role model for the Bingo team. Practices the highest standards of integrity and honesty and sets high ethical standards; while promoting a fun and inviting atmosphere for both team members and players.

Work Experience

To be successful as a Bingo Assistant Shift Manager, you'll need:

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma required.College degree is preferred.
• Two years of experience in Bingo or Gaming is required.
• One year of supervisory and/or management experience is required.
• Above average verbal and written communication skills required.
• Must possess outstanding guest service skills.
• Previous money handling experience with basic math skills required.
• Must possess computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office; including Word and Excel.
• Must possess a basic understanding of Title 31, MICS, and other gaming regulations.
• Ability to organize/prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and accommodate a flexible work schedule.

Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 11 - 20 pounds.
