Job summary

TSG - The Sheridan Group in Minnesota is seeking enthusiastic candidates for a Manufacturing Operating Technician - Bindery. No bindery experience is required as training will be provided to operate high-speed bindery equipment.

You will learn setup, operation, and maintenance of the machine, troubleshoot minor issues, record production data, and contribute to a fast-paced, quality-driven team environment on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery is desirable, but training is provided.
• Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes).
• Reliable and works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, run, and maintain all sections of the Machine.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Learn to interpret the information on work instructions and accurately record production data.
• Exercise initiative, ask questions and look for ways of improving productivity.
