Job summary

TSG - The Sheridan Group in Minnesota is seeking Manufacturing Operating Technicians for the bindery. We will train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment so you can help produce books, catalogs, and printed materials used daily.

You’ll learn to set up, run, and maintain machine sections, troubleshoot minor issues, and record production data. A reliable, team-oriented attitude and basic reading skills are essential to grow with us.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Ability to read basic job instructions and measurements.
• Take pride in doing quality work.
• Reliable, punctual and good team player.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, run, and maintain all sections of the Machine.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Learn to interpret the information on work instructions and accurately record production data.
• Exercise initiative, ask questions and look for ways of improving productivity.
