TSG - The Sheridan Group in Minnesota is hiring a Manufacturing Operating Technician - Bindery. You’ll learn to set up, run, and maintain high-speed bindery equipment while producing books, catalogs, and printed materials.

No bindery experience? We’ll train you. We value reliability, teamwork, and a hands-on approach; prior machinery experience is welcome. Full training leads to a long-term career in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
• Take pride in doing quality work.
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.
• High school diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, run, and maintain all sections of the Machine.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Learn to interpret the information on work instructions and accurately record production data.
• Exercise initiative, ask questions and look for ways of improving productivity.
