Job summary

The Sheridan Group in Minnesota is seeking a Manufacturing Operating Technician for the Bindery. You will learn to set up, run, and maintain high-speed bindery equipment while contributing to quality books and printed materials.

No bindery experience? We’ll train you. We’re hiring 3 team members who are reliable, mechanical, and able to read instructions, work well on a team, and grow into long-term roles on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
• Reliable, team-oriented, and takes pride in quality work.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, run, and maintain all sections of the machine.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Interpret work instructions and accurately record production data.
• Show initiative and seek ways to improve productivity on the line.
