Job summary

RRD in Durham, NC is seeking an experienced bindery operator to set up, adjust and operate various binding machines, inspect equipment for safety, and supervise a crew on the production floor.

You will monitor quality, output and productivity, coordinate multiple work stations, and maintain dimensional accuracy per job instructions, with a $24.00–$35.00 per hour pay range and a $4000 sign‑on bonus. RRD offers comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of setup and adjustment of bindery equipment to perform standard and specialized binding, folding, collating, and cutting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of paper weights, sizes, colors to identify conditions affecting machine performance.
• Ability to use standard and specialized tools to adjust and maintain bindery machines.
• Skill in adjusting powered machines with hand tools and operating complex bindery equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions to maintain dimensional accuracy.
