Job summary

SLB New Energy & Industrial (NEI) is seeking a senior BIM/VDC leader to coordinate data center projects across North America. Lead a distributed team, enforce BIM standards, and ensure clash-free coordination with design consultants and vendors.

You will drive prefabrication opportunities, manage model health, and align BIM with schedule and cost goals, while mentoring BIM staff and ensuring multi-client readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Architecture, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 10–15 years BIM/VDC experience on commercial or industrial construction, data centers preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit and Navisworks; able to work across multiple client environments (BIM 360/Procore).
• Hands-on MEP coordination and clash detection on large, systems-intensive projects.
• Experience leading or mentoring BIM staff; multi-site teams a plus.
• Familiar with prefabrication/modular project delivery and fast-track schedules.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Data Center BIM standards, templates, naming conventions and workflows.
• Hire, onboard, train, and manage BIM coordinators across North America locations.
• Set Level of Detail requirements and model-sharing protocols with client environments.
• Evaluate and implement BIM/VDC tools and emerging tech (digital twin, automation).
• Partner with preconstruction, project management, field and MEP/prefab teams to align BIM with schedule and cost.
• Lead MEP/co-ordination: clash detection and constructability analysis across all models.
• Drive coordination meetings and closure of clashes with trade partners and engineers.
• Manage federated models, model health and handover data across project lifecycle.
