Job summary

LF Driscoll in Philadelphia is seeking a VDC/BIM Manager specializing in mission-critical data center projects. You will lead MEP/FP BIM coordination from preconstruction through construction, guiding design teams, field operations, and trade partners to deliver clash-free models.

You will develop and maintain coordinated BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and ACC, drive issue resolution, mentor junior staff, and ensure QA/QC standards are applied across complex, high-density systems.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in a VDC/BIM coordination role (GC, subcontractor, or design firm).
• Strong working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with ACC; ReCap and point cloud workflows preferred.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, constructability, and construction sequencing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead coordination efforts and drive issue resolution.
• Experience with complex or large-scale projects; mission-critical experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage MEP/FP BIM coordination workflows from preconstruction through construction.
• Facilitate and drive coordination with field superintendents, design teams, subcontractors, and specialty vendors.
• Perform and oversee clash detection and resolution using Navisworks and ACC.
• Develop, manage, and maintain coordinated BIM models and composite drawings based on evolving design and construction inputs.
• Lead coordination meetings, track action items, and ensure timely issue resolution and accountability.
• Conduct site walkthroughs to validate field conditions and ensure alignment with coordinated models.
• Manage and track coordination issues within ACC, ensuring proper documentation and closure.
• Enforce VDC QA/QC standards and manage coordination sign-off processes.
• Support implementation of VDC standards, workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to overall team development.
