Job summary

SLB New Energy & Industrial (NEI) seeks an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM/VDC for its Data Center project portfolio in North America. You will coordinate MEP models created by design consultants and vendors, ensure constructability, and align with client requirements across multiple sites.

In the near term you will perform hands-on coordination while hiring and scaling a distributed BIM team, with up to 50% travel to project sites in the US and Canada to support coordination, clash

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Equivalent experience may be considered.
• 10–15 years in BIM/VDC on commercial or industrial construction; data center experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit and Navisworks; ability to work across multiple client CDEs (ACI/BIM 360, Procore).
• Hands-on MEP coordination and clash detection on large, systems‑intensive projects.
• Experience leading or mentoring BIM staff; managing distributed or multi-site teams is a plus.
• Exposure to prefabrication/modular delivery and fast-track schedules typical of data center work.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and how model data supports field execution.
• Autodesk certifications and/or VDC credentials preferred.
• Familiarity with reality capture and coordination tools (e.g., Recap, point clouds) a plus.
• Experience with modular/prefabricated MEP delivery and vendor-engineered packages a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates must be legally able to work and reside in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide centralized BIM/VDC leadership and accountability across all Data Center projects.
• Ensure effective MEP model coordination, clash resolution, and constructability analysis.
• Maintain alignment between trade partners, engineering contractors, vendors, and client models.
• Identify modularization and prefabrication opportunities to improve constructability and schedule.
• Build, staff, and scale a distributed BIM coordination team across North America.
• Define and maintain Data Center BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Hire, onboard, train, and manage BIM coordinators across multiple locations.
• Establish LOD requirements and model-sharing protocols; operate with client CDEs (ACCloud/BIM 360, Procore).
• Lead coordination meetings with partners, engineers, and field teams; drive clash resolution to closure.
• Support prefabrication and modularization central to mission-critical delivery.
