Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking a lead BIM/VDC professional to drive the implementation and coordination of digital construction workflows on major projects in Colorado.

You will develop BIM execution plans, create detailed 3D models, run clash detection, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and owners. This role combines design technology with field delivery, requiring strong communication, attention to detail, and experience with Revit, Navisworks, and Dynamo.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software, including Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle phases
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail
• Familiarity with BIM automation tools or scripting (e.g., Dynamo preferred)
• Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms
• Working knowledge of Total Station tools for field layout

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM implementation on projects
• Develop and manage BIM execution plans
• Create and manage detailed 3D BIM models
• Conduct clash detection and coordination
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners
• Apply VDC methodologies to improve planning and cost estimation
• Provide training on BIM and VDC
