Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) seeks a BIM/VDC Leader to drive implementation, governance, and standardization of BIM across multiple Colorado projects. Lead 3D modeling efforts using Revit and Navisworks, oversee coordination, and push for innovation in BIM workflows.

The role supports safe delivery of complex electrical solutions with a focus on quality and collaboration. Ideal candidates will have a strong BIM/VDC background, a bachelor’s in a related field, and experience developing

BIM/VDC experience across multiple projects.
Ability to develop and enforce BIM execution plans.
Experience raising standards and best practices in BIM/VDC.
Innovate with BIM/VDC technologies and delivery methods.

Responsibilities

Lead the implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of BIM and VDC processes across projects and teams.
Develop, maintain, and enforce BIM execution plans aligned with project requirements and industry standards.
Establish and champion BIM/VDC best practices, workflows, and quality benchmarks organization-wide.
Drive innovation by evaluating and recommending advancements in BIM/VDC technologies, processes, and delivery methods.
Oversee the development and management of detailed 3D models using Revit/Navisworks; manage clash detection and coordination.
