Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking a senior BIM VDC leader to drive modeling, coordination, and project delivery across Colorado projects. You will govern BIM/VDC programs, develop execution plans, and champion best practices with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes leading Revit/Navisworks workflows, clash detection, and constructible designs for electrical construction, with collaboration among architects, engineers, and field teams. Competitive salary offered.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, CAD or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Progressive BIM VDC leadership experience in construction, with electrical projects preferred.
• Experience leading BIM VDC initiatives on electrical construction projects.
• BIM VDC certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM VDC governance and continuous improvement across projects and teams.
• Develop and enforce BIM execution plans aligned with project requirements.
• Oversee 3D modeling and clash detection to mitigate design conflicts.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, owners and internal teams.
