Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager of BIM/VDC to guide design-build water infrastructure projects from preconstruction through completion.

The role emphasizes leading BIM/VDC strategies, model coordination, and the development of BEPs and standards across complex teams. The candidate should have extensive BIM/VDC leadership, expert Revit skills, and a strong grasp of design-build delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in AEC or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM/VDC leadership on large-scale construction projects.
• Expert-level proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
• Strong understanding of design-build delivery methodologies.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary models and coordination processes.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, and related BIM/VDC technologies.
• Experience developing BIM standards, workflows, and quality assurance procedures.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Support BIM and VDC strategies across multiple projects.
• Lead model coordination among engineering, design, construction, and subcontractor teams.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), project standards, and modeling workflows.
• Manage model quality control, clash detection, and issue resolution using BIM tools.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary coordination meetings and track model-related actions.
• Support constructability reviews, digital planning, and field integration.
• Develop and maintain Revit content, templates, and standards.
• Train and mentor project teams on BIM/VDC processes and best practices.
• Coordinate the integration of models with scheduling, estimating, and construction planning.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing emerging technologies and digital workflows.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction personnel to ensure BIM deliverables meet objectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and quality.
