Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a BIM/VDC Assistant Manager to lead planning, development, and management of BIM/VDC across complex design-build projects. The role requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams and advancing digital delivery standards from preconstruction to project completion.

The ideal candidate has extensive construction experience and strong Revit expertise, with preference for water/wastewater experience. This is a high-impact, collaboration-driven position in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM/VDC leadership on large-scale construction projects.
• Expert-level proficiency with Autodesk Revit.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of BIM and VDC strategies across multiple projects.
• Lead model coordination among engineering, design, construction, and subcontractor teams.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), project standards, and modeling workflows.
• Manage model quality control, clash detection, and issue resolution using BIM coordination tools.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary coordination meetings and track model-related action items.
• Support project teams with constructability reviews, digital planning, and field integration.
• Develop and maintain project-specific Revit content, templates, and standards.
• Train and mentor project teams on BIM/VDC processes, tools, and best practices.
• Coordinate the integration of models with scheduling, estimating, and construction planning activities.
