Job summary

Jacobs seeks a highly motivated BIM/VDC Assistant Manager to support the planning, development, implementation, and management of BIM/VDC processes across complex design-build construction projects. This role coordinates multidisciplinary project teams and drives model-based collaboration from preconstruction through project completion.

The ideal candidate has extensive construction industry experience, expert Revit skills, and a strong understanding of design-build delivery.

Qualifications

Your impact

We are seeking a highly motivated BIM/VDC Assistant Manager to support the planning, development, implementation, and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) processes across complex design-build construction projects. This individual will play a key role in coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, driving model-based collaboration, and advancing digital delivery standards from preconstruction through project completion.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive construction industry experience, advanced technical proficiency with Autodesk Revit, and a strong understanding of design-build project execution. Experience within the water and wastewater industry is preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, or related infrastructure projects.
• Experience working on industrial, process, or heavy civil construction projects.
• Familiarity with 4D scheduling, 5D estimating, reality capture, laser scanning, and digital twin technologies.
• Experience implementing BIM/VDC workflows in a design-build environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Relevant Autodesk or industry certifications.

The base salary range for this position is $135,800.00 to $212,150.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
