Job summary

Jacobs in Houston seeks a Project VDC/BIM Lead to drive digital delivery on complex infrastructure projects. You will plan, coordinate, and execute BIM-enabled workflows, coordinating with project managers, design leads, and specialty teams to meet quality, schedule, and budget goals.

The role requires 4+ years in design support, architecture/engineering, or construction coordination, plus strong communication and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or coordinating digital delivery, BIM, CAD, GIS, or information management activities on engineering, design, infrastructure, or construction projects.
• Working knowledge of BIM Execution Plans, Digital Delivery Plans, common data environments, model coordination, and project information workflows.
• Ability to coordinate across project management, design management, discipline teams, subconsultants, clients, and technology stakeholders.
• Experience supporting quality assurance for digital models, drawings, data, and deliverables.
• Familiarity with project delivery requirements related to scope, schedule, cost, risk, change management, and contractual obligations.
• Strong communication, facilitation, issue resolution, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital delivery planning, kickoff activities, and mobilization.
• Coordinate digital delivery workflows across management, design, and construction teams.
• Integrate digital delivery with schedule, cost, risk, and change management.
• Provide progress, risk, and resource updates to project leadership.
• Support permitting, handover, and sustainability-related workflows.
