Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a BIM/VDC Assistant Manager to support planning, development, implementation, and management of BIM and VDC processes across complex design-build construction projects. This role will coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, drive model-based collaboration, and advance digital delivery standards from preconstruction through project completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in architecture, engineering, construction, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years BIM/VDC leadership on large-scale projects.
• Expert-level proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
• Strong understanding of design-build delivery methodologies.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary models.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and field operations.
• Proficiency with BIM/VDC tools and workflows.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute BIM/VDC strategies across projects.
• Lead model coordination among engineering, design, construction, and subcontractors.
• Maintain BEPs, project standards, and modeling workflows.
• Manage model quality control, clash detection, and issue resolution.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary coordination meetings and track actions.
• Support constructability reviews, digital planning, and field integration.
• Develop and maintain project-specific Revit content, templates, and standards.
• Train and mentor project teams on BIM/VDC processes, tools, and best practices.
• Coordinate the integration of models with scheduling, estimating, and construction planning.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing emerging technologies and digital workflows.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction personnel to ensure BIM deliverables support objectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and quality.
