Job summary

Hedrick Brothers Construction seeks a VDC Coordinator III to develop and maintain BIM models across Florida projects. You will act as a hands-on modeler, coordinating with departments, clients, and architects, while learning to manage the full VDC process on active projects.

This role blends modeling, quantity takeoff, scheduling support, and trade coordination. You will help manage model changes, verify quantities, and support RFIs on complex builds.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture or equivalent construction management certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of related project engineering experience and proficient plan reading.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Model and coordinate BIM models for projects, maintain BIM logs and revisions.
• Derive quantities, perform takeoffs, and support cost reporting.
• Develop design-phase and modeling/coordination schedules including 4D simulations.
• Attend model coordination meetings, issue RFIs, and track submittals and sign-offs.
• Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors on model-driven workflows.
