Job summary

Performance Contracting Group in Malta, NY is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join the Albany 576 operations. The role centers on BIM/VDC modeling using Revit, coordinating with design and operations teams, and ensuring model quality and consistency across project documents.

Responsibilities include creating 3D models, coordinating with point clouds, scanning for clashes, and maintaining project-specific content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred.
• 2-year technical degree or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 4+ years of BIM (Revit)/VDC modeling and coordination experience.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 360 Design/Glue.
• Portfolio demonstrating work in Revit and Revit Family Editor.
• Experience with Bluebeam PDF Software.

Responsibilities

• Attend kick-off meeting with design/operations staff to understand scope and requirements.
• Create 3D models utilizing Revit.
• Coordinate with point cloud files and ensure spatial coordination.
• Perform BIM compliance checks and QC models against project documents.
• Use Navisworks for clash detection and resolution of PCI clashes.
• Create and maintain project content aligned with BIM standards.
• Collaborate with Design and Operations teams to implement BIM/VDC best practices.
