Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. seeks a CAD/MEP Designer to model, coordinate, and prepare detailed drawings for mechanical systems using CAD tools.

The role emphasizes BIM workflow, collaboration with design and field teams, and accurate documentation of project updates. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of BIM experience or 2–5 years of mechanical piping experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of mechanical piping experience or 5+ years BIM in design software.
• Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with CAD modeling and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Generate mechanical pipe models from project specs, drawings and models.
• Update drawings, models, specs, RFIs, change orders as the project progresses.
• Collaborate with build and design teams to prevent design-related construction errors.
• Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
