Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) seeks a VDC Coordinator to bridge BIM VDC detailers and leads, ensuring coordinated, high-quality models and project standards. You will help manage BIM processes, BEPs, and coordination across teams in Colorado.

You will mentor junior BIM staff, support onboarding, and stay current with BIM VDC advancements while collaborating with field teams to enable constructible solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or comparable BIM VDC software.
• Understanding of construction processes and project life cycles.
• Strong communication and collaboration capabilities across diverse project teams.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing BIM VDC processes on assigned projects.
• Support development and maintenance of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Ensure adherence to company standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.
• Manage coordination models, perform clash detection, and produce model-based documentation.
• Provide model extracts and coordination reports to project teams.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and field teams to ensure accurate system integration.
