Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking a BIM/VDC Coordinator to join our Denver headquarters.

The role bridges detailers and leads, ensures coordinated models, maintains project standards, and supports delivery through clash detection and model management. You will mentor junior team members, coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and field crews to ensure constructible designs and smooth information flow.

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM/VDC software in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and project life cycles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in BIM/VDC processes and BEP development on projects.
• Manage coordination models and perform clash detection across trades.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and field teams.
• Mentor BIM/VDC Detailer I/II and support onboarding and training.
