Job summary

Faith Technologies Incorporated is seeking a BIM Detailer I to create and modify 2D and 3D drawings for electrical and specialty systems from concept through installation. Proficiency in PC use and Microsoft 365 suite is expected; related software such as Revit MEP, Navisworks, Bluebeam, BIM 360 Glue, G Suite, and Teams is a plus.

The role requires high school GED, some architecture/BIM education, and 5 years of field/technical experience or 2–3 years software experience, with NEC/BICSI/NICET

Qualifications

• Education: High school GED required; architecture/BIM tech preferred.
• Experience: Electrical/specialty systems field experience or 2–3 years software experience; 5 years field/technical experience combined.
• Fundamental understanding of NEC, BICSI, NICET codes.
• Understand how linked Revit files work.
• Create/modify schedules and setup view templates.
• Model electrical components and content to accurate dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Comprehends and uses design, construction, and submittal documentation.
• Understands NEC and applies it to modeling.
• Models racks and different systems with accurate dimensions and orientation.
• Tracks changes and understands impact on project timeline and cost.
• Maintains BIM clash and coordinates cross-team efforts.
• Produces detailed 2D and 3D installation documentation.
