Job summary

Qualifications

• High school GED required; architecture or BIM technology education preferred.
• 5 years field/technical experience or 2–3 years software experience; NEC, BICSI, or NICET knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Comprehends, navigates, and utilizes design, construction, and submittal documentation.
• Understands National Electric Code and applies it to modeling.
• Models electrical components/content to accurate dimensions, orientation, and elevation.
• Creates, modifies, and maintains detailed 2D and 3D installation documentation.
• Accurately locates and places Autodesk Point Layout (APL) points and exports data files for field implementation.
• Coordinates BIM clash and communicates with project stakeholders.
