Job summary

Faith Technologies Inc. is seeking a BIM Detailer I to create and modify 2D and 3D drawings for electrical and specialty systems from concept to installation.

Proficiency with PC and Microsoft 365 is expected; knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks, Bluebeam, BIM 360 Glue, G Suite and Teams is a plus. The role requires field or software experience in 2D/3D modeling, strong problem solving and communication skills, and a willingness to travel up to 10% with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential

Qualifications

• Education: GED required; architecture or BIM technology preferred.
• Experience: electrical and/or specialty systems field experience and/or 2–3 years software experience preferred.
• Understand NEC/BICSI/NICET codes.
• Understand linked Revit files.
• Create/modify schedules for drawings.
• Setup view filters/templates.
• Layout conduit racks with proper parameters, spacing, sizing, and j-box locations.
• Model electrical equipment and light fixtures per specs, including housekeeping pads/skids and supports.
• Clash model content and export NWC files; clash electrical feeder/branch racks.
• Place Autodesk Point Layout (APL) points and export data files.
• Travel: 5–10%.
• Work hours 7 AM–5 PM; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Comprehends and navigates design, construction, and submittal documentation.
• Applies National Electrical Code in modeling.
• Layout racks and systems knowledgeably.
• Track changes and assess impact on project scope and cost.
• Follow BIM Execution Plan in modeling efforts.
• Work within company standards.
• Model electrical components to accurate dimensions and elevations.
• Create/mantain installation documentation from the model.
• Place APL points accurately and export field data files.
• Maintain clash-free environments and coordinate BIM clashes.
• Communicate effectively with team and stakeholders.
• Contribute to task assignments and project tracking.
