Job summary

IMEG, a leading ESOP-owned firm, is hiring a Virtual Design Coordinator in Columbia, SC. You will oversee and manage BIM projects for all disciplines, serve as the primary BIM contact, and support project delivery through modeling standards and workflow management.

The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, working within budgets, and ensuring model quality. Strong Revit skills and communication are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum BIM coordination experience, 3 preferred
• Revit experience required
• Strong communication skills across all levels

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage BIM projects for all disciplines and serve as main BIM contact for the team
• Work within the project budget and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet goals
• Configure model setup and understand project scope requirements
• Attend client and consultant meetings, including BIM kickoff
• Manage project folders, file sharing, and archival between IMEG and external partners
• Provide team support for Virtual Design software and escalate as needed
• Identify training needs for BIM standards and tools
• Review models and PDFs for compliance with standards
• Maintain models and run clash detection, participate in BIM coordination
• Coordinate models and workflow among design team members
