Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Virtual Design Coordinator to oversee BIM projects from Raleigh, NC. This role collaborates with project teams, clients, and consultants to ensure accurate model setup, coordination, and documentation across disciplines.

The position focuses on Revit-driven model management, clash detection, and efficient BIM workflows within a full-time hybrid work arrangement. 2+ years of BIM experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years BIM coordination experience; 3+ preferred.
• Strong Revit knowledge with emphasis on project setup and model management.
• Ability to troubleshoot Revit/design software issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication with colleagues and clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate model setup configurations and project scope with the project manager.
• Attend client and consultant BIM meetings, including kickoff sessions.
• Manage project folders, file sharing, and archiving across disciplines and partners.
• Provide team-specific support for Virtual Design software and escalate as needed.
• Identify training needs for BIM standards and tools.
• Review models and PDFs for compliance with standards.
• Maintain models using established BIM practices and standards.
• Run clash detection reports and coordinate BIM workflows.
• Follow modeling and drawing production standards.
• Coordinate models and workflow among design team members.
