Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Virtual Design Coordinator in Columbia, SC to oversee BIM projects across disciplines and act as the main BIM point of contact for the project team. You will work within budgets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client goals and deliverables.

The role requires strong Revit knowledge, effective communication, and the ability to coordinate with project managers, clients, and consultants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years BIM experience; 3+ preferred; equivalent accepted.
• Strong Revit knowledge; emphasis on project setup and model management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional demeanor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage BIM projects for all disciplines and serve as BIM contact for the project team.
• Work within the project budget and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet goals.
• Coordinate model setup with the project manager and understand scope requirements.
• Attend project meetings with clients and consultants including BIM kickoff meetings.
• Manage project folders, file sharing, and archival between IMEG disciplines and external partners.
• Provide team support for Virtual Design software; escalate as needed.
• Identify training needs for BIM standards and tools.
• Review working models and PDFs for standards compliance.
• Run clash detection reports, resolve clashes, and participate in BIM coordination.
