Job summary

Clark Construction is seeking a BIM Coordinator in the DC metro area to lead project-level BIM coordination, clash detection, and coordination meetings, from preconstruction through turnover.

You will set up BIM workflows, manage file formats and nomenclature, support design and MEP coordination, and collaborate with global teams. Travel to DMV jobsites required, with QA/QC of models and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of BIM coordination experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture/civil/mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in BIM software: Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks.
• Proven MS Office skills and strong QA/QC mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project-level BIM coordination, including clash detection.
• Run technical BIM meetings and follow-ups with stakeholders.
• Set up BIM project workflows (BEPs, file formats, nomenclature).
• Facilitate initial BIM meetings and MEP coordination sessions.
• Travel to DMV area jobsites; QA/QC of models and drawings.
