Job summary

Conti Federal is seeking a BIM Coordinator to manage design and construction using BIM tools, coordinating between stakeholders and ensuring quality control.

Responsibilities include modeling, clash detection, schedule management, and documentation control, with travel to project sites as needed. The role requires a U.S. citizen and BIM proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen as required for security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• At least two years BIM experience with modeling programs (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Fabrication CADMEP).
• Ability to prepare QC templates, drawings and details.
• Experience with multi-discipline project teams and laser scanning familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and update 3D models of a construction project in BIM tools.
• Coordinate between design, subcontractors and construction teams on changes and issues.
• Use BIM to extract quantities for material takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Review project submittals and specifications from the PM team.
• Independently check CAD work against mark-ups for quality control.
• Identify clashes and resolve conflicts before construction begins.
• Develop and manage construction schedules using BIM tools.
