Job summary

RMCI, Inc. is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join the BIM/VDC team and support day-to-day coordination on active construction projects.

You will maintain models, run clash detection, and assist field teams with model-based layouts and RFI updates to ensure smooth information flow between design and installation. You will collaborate with subcontractors and trade partners, document issues, and help develop project standards and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–4 years of BIM/VDC, construction coordination, or related field.
• Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks with clash detection and coordination outputs.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Forma (ACC/BIM 360) modules.
• Basic understanding of MEP systems and coordination in a federated model environment.
• Ability to read construction drawings and coordination documents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update BIM models per project BEP and LOD standards.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and document issues for responsible parties.
• Support subcontractor coordination meetings and maintain meeting minutes and logs.
• Review subcontractor models for compliance with coordination requirements.
• Assist field teams with model-based layout, as-built docs, and RFI updates.
• Coordinate with trade partners to resolve clashes and document resolutions in ACC.
• Manage coordination issue logs, RFI tracking, and submittal registers as directed.
• Upload and organize project files within Autodesk Forma (ACC).
• Support drone operations and OpenSpace workflows for progress docs.
• Prepare coordination drawings, conflict reports, and field-ready outputs.
