Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to manage cross-disciplinary BIM activities for transit and multimodal projects in the United States. You will coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a single federated, clash-checked model throughout the project lifecycle.

• Extensive experience with BIM/CADD standards and design coordination.
• Familiarity with transit agency and DOT design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation, roadway design and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and resolve issues across disciplines.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and advise on model deliverables and LOE.
• Ensure adherence to firm QC standards and crosscheck drawings for consistency.
• Support multiple offices with design sketches and mentoring of staff.
