Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC in Clinton, MD or Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking a Constructability Specialist. You will bridge virtual design and field execution, reviewing electrical layouts, 3D models, and installation strategies using Navisworks, Revit, and Bluebeam to ensure practical, safe, and efficient installations.

The ideal candidate brings at least 10 years of electrical construction experience, deep NEC/NFPA knowledge, and strong communication skills to support field electricians and project

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years field experience as an electrician in electrical construction.
• Experience with VDC, engineering, prefabrication design is required.
• Strong NEC/NFPA and local code knowledge.
• Ability to read schematics and construction drawings.
• Effective communicator with field electricians and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, layouts, and 3D models for constructability.
• Identify constructability issues early and propose design changes.
• Lead constructability reviews and coordinate with BIM/VDC teams.
• Provide field-informed feedback to align design with installation workflows.
• Develop work packages and prefabrication logistics.
• Maintain constructability reports and issue logs.
