Job summary

ArchKey Solutions in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Constructability Specialist to ensure electrical designs are practical and field-ready. You will review layouts, 3D models, and installation strategies, translating design intent into actionable field solutions using Navisworks, Revit, Bluebeam, and Revizto.

You will collaborate with BIM/VDC teams, help plan modular solutions, conduct site walks, and produce constructability reports and coordination notes to support safe, efficient installation

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 10 years of field experience as an electrician in electrical construction or equivalent.
• Experience with VDC, prefabrication design, or manufacturing design is a plus.
• Strong understanding of NEC/NFPA/local code compliance and installation practices.
• Proficient with Autodesk tools: AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit; familiarity with Revizto and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, layouts, and 3D models for constructability and field feasibility.
• Develop/redlines and field-driven design changes to support coordination.
• Identify and resolve constructability issues early in design.
• Recommend design adjustments for safer, faster installations including modular/pre-fabricated solutions.
• Collaborate with BIM/VDC teams to integrate constructible elements into models.
