Job summary

CodeMax Medical Billing, based in Fort Lauderdale, seeks a Billing Supervisor to lead our RCM billing team onsite. You will oversee claims submission, denials management, and coding accuracy for behavioral health and substance abuse clients and coordinate with onshore and offshore staff.

You will ensure HIPAA compliance, monitor KPIs, and drive process improvements while maintaining excellent provider and payer communications.

Qualifications

• Experience leading billing teams in health care, specifically behavioral health/substance use billing.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding and payer requirements.
• Experience with onshore/offshore team management and KPI tracking.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a blended team of onshore and offshore billing and coding specialists.
• Oversee submission of insurance claims and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage follow-up on unpaid/denied claims and optimize reimbursement.
