Qualifications

• Strong professional background in medical billing and revenue cycle management (RCM).
• Previous leadership experience as Billing Lead or Supervisor.
• Hands-on knowledge of claims submission, payer follow-up, denials, and AR.
• Experience supervising billing staff and managing day-to-day workflows.
• Behavioral health billing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day medical billing and revenue cycle workflows.
• Supervise, support, and provide direction to billing staff.
• Monitor claims activity, accounts receivable, denials, and payer follow‑up.
• Ensure billing processes are completed accurately and within appropriate timelines.
• Assist with escalated claims, payer issues, denials, and other billing challenges.
• Monitor team productivity and help maintain accountability across billing functions.
• Identify workflow issues and opportunities to improve billing efficiency and collections.
• Provide training, coaching, and operational support to billing team members.
• Collaborate with leadership regarding billing performance and operational needs.
• Remain actively involved in billing operations rather than functioning solely in a management capacity.
