Job summary

ProMD Medical Billing is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Supervisor to oversee daily operations for physician practices. You will lead billing, collections, denial management, and A/R teams to maximize reimbursement and maintain high clean-claim rates.

The role requires strong leadership, compliance with HIPAA, and expertise in CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS; experience with MS Excel and EHRs is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BA preferred in healthcare admin, business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of medical billing/RCM experience with 2+ years in supervision.
• Experience with multi-specialty physician practices and medical billing firms preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, payer reimbursement methodologies.
• Proficiency with practice management and EHR systems; advanced Excel/reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach billing teams; monitor productivity, quality, and KPIs.
• Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle processes for client accounts; ensure timely submissions and resolutions.
• Maintain strong client relationships as the primary operational contact; review performance metrics.
• Develop SOPs, training materials, and support process improvements.
• Ensure HIPAA and payer compliance; conduct quality audits of claims and postings.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and collaborate with IT/coding teams to improve outcomes.
