Job summary

CDG in Kentucky is seeking an entry-level billing specialist to support monthly statements, billing cycles, and customer accounts. You will handle statement production, invoice creation, and data updates with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

Role requires collaboration with customers, third parties, and internal teams to resolve billing issues, communicate changes, and maintain high standards of service. Willingness to work extended hours and travel if needed is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Computer Science or IT preferred.
• At least 1 year experience with Windows, Linux, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, databases and accounting applications.
• Telecommunications billing experience preferred.
• Must be a collaborative team player with ability to work independently.
• Willing to work additional hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly customer statements and reports.
• Create monthly invoices and billing reports by customer cycles.
• Update databases so statements reflect current data.
• Resolve billing inconsistencies with customers and third parties.
• Approve bill production and verify statement accuracy before delivery.
• Collaborate with programmers and other departments to ensure final product accuracy.
• Provide input to software staff for billing enhancements.
• Stay informed on industry billing changes and communicate updates to customers.
• Participate in industry meetings and marketing/sales efforts when required.
• Maintain professionalism and teamwork in daily operations.
